Last weekend Victor joined in an interesting event at the Civic Center. It was the Bamboo Expo. "I advise that anyone who likes to learn about new things should go there next weekend. It's your last chance," Victor told his friends this morning.
Victor didn't think he would enjoy it very much, but he really did. He never dreamed that so many things could be made from bamboo. "Here in the US, we're just getting to ,know bamboo," Victor said. "We're starting to realize how useful this light but strong plant can be. I'll never think of bamboo in the same way again. Now I'll see it in my home, thanks to what I bought at the show. Check it out! There's much to see, buy and learn."

Einstein often received invitations to explain his theories at different universities. On these trips, his driver was always the same man called Hans. Hans often said to him. “It is a pleasure to drive a talent like you, Dr Einstein.”
One evening, on their way to a university, Einstein said, “I’m so tired. I wish I could refuse to give my lecture(讲座) tonight, Hans, but I don’t want to let my audience down.”
