Who is the greatest teacher in China’s history? You can’t think of anyone else when you hear people read his 2500 - year - old saying, “ When I walk along with two others,I may be able to learn from them. ” Confucius is one of the most important persons in the history of China. The oldest Confucius temple,in Pingyao County in Shanxi Province,was open to the public after a one - year renovation (改建）project on April 26th,2004.
The main building of the temple was built in 1163,and has a history of more than 840 years.
