“A day at the shops can help you live longer,and surprisingly,the benefits (好处) are actually greater for men,says a study group from Taiwan.
The study even suggests that shopping regularly is better than going to the gym.
The study suggests that seeing friends and just peoplewatching can stave off (抵挡） loneliness and improve psycho- logical health. It looked at about 1 ,850 people aged 65 and over living alone at home in Taiwan. These people were asked ①.The researchers studied how long each of these people lived by following the national death information between 1999 and 2008.
