Nowadays after class,Sabrina Schramm no longer discusses TV dramas, sports or clothes with her classmates. Instead, the eighth-grader from Texas,US, talks about what she wants to do in the future.

Many middle schools hold meetings, start training classes and provide teachers to help students make decisions. But some students still feel undecided (犹豫不决) . "I have no idea what I want to do," Dorothy Isgur,Sabrina's classmate, told KERA News. "I have a lot of pressure. You don't want to make a bad decision because once you’re on a path you may stay on that path."
Meanwhile, some have already decided their goals. Sabrina said she would choose the area of business and industry and do something in digital media (数字媒体) . She doesn’t mind making such an important choice so early in her life. "We have to get ready for high school anyway," she said.
