Long, long ago, there lived in a town in Persia two brothers, Cassim and Ali Baba. Cassim married a rich woman and lived a rich life, while Ali Baba married a poor woman and made his living by cutting wood.
One day when Ali Baba was wood in the forest, he saw a lot of men on horseback coming towards him. He was frightened and climbed up into a tall tree, which stood near a big rock. When they got to the rock, they got off their horses and took off a lot of heavy bags. Ali Baba was sure that they were robbers. He saw they were forty in number.
