【题目】—Could you tell me how to pay for the food by QR(二维码) on the smart phone?

A.Take it easy.B.It doesn’t matter.C.You’re welcome.D.Sure, I’d love to.

【答案】D

【解析】

句意:——你可以告诉我如何在智能手机上用二维码支付这个食物?——当然,我愿意。

考查情景对话辨析。take it easy 别紧张;it doesn’t matter 没关系;you’re welcome 不客气;sure, I’d love to 当然,我愿意。根据上文所问“你可以告诉我吗”,可知,下文是回答“当然,我愿意告诉你”,所以D选项是符合语境。故选D

【题目】 Have you ever been afraid? Do thunder and lightning make your heart beat faster? Maybe your mouth goes dry when your teacher says you will be given a test, or your palms(手掌)sweat when it’s your turn to give your report in front of the class. Perhaps you get butterflies in your stomach when you see the bully (欺负人的人) who chooses you.

We all have fears sometimes. That’s true no matter how big we are or how brave we can be. Fear of getting too close to a campfire may save you from a bad burn. And fear of getting a bad grade on a test may make you study hard. Being nervous can also sharpen your senses and help you perform better during a track meet. Some people even enjoy being a little scared. That’s why they like to watch scary movies.

Usually, our bodies go into fight only when there is something to fear. However, sometimes this happens when there doesn’t seem to be anything to be frightened about. When you feel scared but there doesn’t seem to be a clear reason, that’s called anxiety. For some kids, the feeling of anxiety or worry can happen at any time. For others, it might appear only at certain times, like when they are leaving their home or family to go somewhere. For some people, this feeling of anxiety happens almost all the time and gets in the way of what they want to do.

Tell your parents if your anxiety becomes strong and is getting in the way of what you want to do. Your parents can take you to a doctor, who can help to find out if a medical problem is making you feel anxious. But you can also try these ways to kill the feeling yourself.

【题目】 Apollo, a 5monthold pit bull puppy(比特犬), is getting extra hugs today, after saving his owner's girlfriend from a terrible attack.

According to the New York Post, 18yearold Maya Fairweather was visiting her boyfriend, Carlos Guzman, at his apartment in the Red Hook neighborhood in Brooklyn New York, on Monday night. Around 10 pm, the teen decided to take Guzman's puppy, Apollo, for a walk.

Once she reached a nearby Park, Fairweather let the pit bull off his rope so he could run around on the grass. Meanwhile, she kept a close watch on him, listening to music through her headphones. “I felt someone pulling my headphones,” she told the New York Post. “I thought it was my boyfriend joking me, so I turned around and smiled—but it wasn't my boyfriend.”

Instead it was an unfamiliar man, who started attacking Fairweather, pushed her to the ground and tried to control her arms. After struggling with the attacker for a few moments, the girl was saved by her protective puppy. Apollo raced to the scene and bit the attacker's leg.

The puppy bit down so hard that the stranger was forced to take his attention off Fairweather to try to shake the dog off. The girl used the moment of distraction(分散注意力)to run across the street and escape.

Finally, Apollo set the attacker free, who ran away. “He was protective,” Fairweather said about the dog's heroic deed. “I think it would have been a lot worse. I wouldn't have been so lucky.”

After that, Fairweather, who was not harmed during the attack, returned to Guzman's apartment with Apollo. Guzman's sister took Fairweather to a local police station to report the attack. The police are now searching for the man.

Fairweather is really grateful for the role Apollo played in her escape, but is surprised that the dog came to her rescue. “He is a sweet dog. I never thought he would bite anyone. He never bit anyone before. He's usually very friendly and just jumps on everyone,” she said.
