Recently ，East China has been covered by fog and haze for days in a row，which causes great trouble to people’s life。As is shown from the picture, this serious situation results from many aspects. Vehicles exhaust is the first to blame, which makes up half of the total exhaust. Industrial exhaust is another cause. It accounts for 38%. Besides, gas emission from residents is only8% and 4% from power station. These four kinds of exhaust lead to fog and haze happening more and more.

Things must be done to deal with the situation. First, stricter laws should be made to prevent atmosphere from being polluted. What’s more, the number of cars, which is on the top of the list, should be banned from increasing. Finally, people’s awareness of protecting environment should be increased so that all of us could contribute to improving the situation. To conclude, the key to solving this problem is strict laws as well as education.
