Dear David,      Nice to hear from you. Most students have the same problem as yours,so I can understand you. But I think doing homework is necessary and useful. Listening to teachers carefully in class is only the first step. By doing homework, we can review what we have leamed in class. If you want to do the things you like or have a good rest, try to make best use of your time. It's also a good idea to talk about your problem with your teachers. I'm sure they will help you. Work hard and you will enjoy your life.
