As we all know, everybody needs friends. Friendship plays an important part in our studies, work and everyday life. I think friends should be similar, because in this way, we have a common hobby.

My best friend is Li Lan. She has a pair of speaking eyes. She is kind and helpful. Her favorite sport is basketball. So am I. She is used to getting up early. But I'm a little lazy. She often encourages me to get up early. We often play basketball on Saturday. She studies very well. She often helps me with my English.

Once our friends are in trouble, we should try our best to help them out. Just as the famous saying goes: A friend in need is a friend indeed. Only in this way can our friendship last long. With friends around us, we are sure to enjoy a happier life.
