The emperors liked different kinds of activities to celebrate all the traditional festivals in the Forbidden City. Right now the Forbidden City is known as a historical site for tourists from all over the world. Everyone can go in there, and it is a museum with priceless Chinese treasures in it.
I really learned a lot about the Chinese culture and its history from this trip to the Forbidden City. It was like a dream coming true to go on the trip and see the things that I have always wanted to see.
