     Don't you still know e-books in 2014? If you say no,then you are out today. Ebook is short for elec?tronic book. Some e-books can be read on personal computers. And for others,you can read them by your mobile phones or ebook readers (阅读器) .With the development of the Internet,people can get more knowledge and know answers to lots of ques?tions from e-books. This is why the e-books busi?ness is developing fast.

    Compared to traditional paper books,e-books own many characteristics. First of all,they save time. We don't have to go to bookstores to buy books,and we can search many e-books on similar topics in a short time. Then,e-books save money. You can download some books on the Internet. Some cost a little money,and some are free. And there are a lot of resources on the Internet. Thirdly,they protect the environment. They save some trees,for e-books don't have to be printed (印刷) on paper. At last,e-books make reading more conveni?ent. You can carry hundreds of books with you in ebook readers without worrying about their weight. And you can read e-books at almost any place.

    But e-books certainly have disadvantages. First,resources in ebook readers are easy to lose if there's something wrong with ebook readers. Then,you have to download the resources on the computer or by the Internet.

    Indeed,e-books provide us with a new way of reading. Even some people say paper books will be replaced by e-books in few years. Paper books refer to a kind of habit and culture which can't be easily changed,in my opinion.
