When she arrived in Calcutta, she had little money left and was helped by a priest. She lived in a small room for 9 years, and she nursed the sick ones back to health there.

She did her best to help the poor. Because of her hard work, Mother Teresa was given the Nobel Prize in 1979. Mother Teresa was a kind mother of so many poor kids. In September 1997, Mother Teresa passed away and was remembered by the people all over the world.
