    Travelling is a fun way to get life experiences. But if you’re a student and don’t have enough money for a trip, don’t worry about that. Here are some useful suggestions.

    No. 1: Save money

    This probably is the most important preparation for travelling. Cut costs to fatten your wallet so you’ll have more choices about where to go and how to get there.

    No. 2: Plan ahead

    Don’t wait until the last minute to plan your trip. Tickets may cost more when bought on short notice. Giving yourself several months to get ready can mean safeness and savings.

    No. 3: Do your homework

    No matter where you go, research the places you will visit. It’s better to learn about the place you plan to reach before the trip, such as the local food and what to see. Travel books can not only provide information on the sightseeing but tell you where the cheapest hotels are and which restaurant has the most delicious food.

    No. 4: Plan reasonably

    Write down how much money you expect to spend on food, hotels, and others. Stick to your plan or you may not have enough money to cover everything.

    No. 5: Travel in groups

    Find someone who is interested in visiting the same places. By travelling with others you can share costs and experiences. It is also a good way to make new friends.

    No. 6: Work as you go

    Need more money for your trip? It will be better to look for jobs in the places you visit. Working while travelling is also a great way to experience the local life.

    No. 7: Stay away from tourist cities

    Tourist cities may be expensive and crowded, especially during the holiday season. You may want to rethink the place you want to visit and to a less-known area like smaller towns. They can have many interesting activities and sights as well.
