    In summer, everybody needs to be careful with the sun. Do you know how to spend time in the sun without burning or damaging your skin? Here are some rules.

    First, you need to wear a hat, but choose your hat carefully. Baseball caps protect your eyes, but they don’t protect your ears or your neck. Use a proper sun hat.

    Second, use sun cream(防晒霜). You need to put it on at least twenty minutes before you go out. Because sun cream starts to work twenty minutes after you put it on.

    Third, you had better wear sunglasses to protect your eyes. Some people like to put sun cream around your eyes and on their eyelids to protect them from the sun. In fact, sun cream hurts the eyes.

    On a hot sunny day, wear dark-colored clothes. Light-colored clothes don`t protect you from the sun.

    However, you need to spend time in the sun to get enough vitamin D for healthy skin and bones, but don’t forget to use cream. Without sun cream you have a bigger risk of skin cancer.

    I would like to talk to you about one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. I was born and raised there and now I visit it from time to time. My family moved to the city, so I only go back to see friends or to camp and fish.

    You’re probably wondering why I don’t live there. Well, I can’t get a job there. A lot of the businesses are family-owned. And they never fire(解雇) their employees. So the employees work there usually until they retire(退休). Most people have to go to other places to get a job.
