【解析】

本文为应用文,主要描述当你烧伤的时候,怎样急救。首先将烧伤部位的衣物移除,用流动的凉水冲洗烧伤部位,轻轻的遮盖。如果非常严重,要打急救电话。

1细节理解题。根据文章内容“First, decide if you can take care of the burn yourself.”可知,第一时间确定自己是否能够照顾自己,故选B

2细节理解题。根据文章内容“Run cool (not cold) water over the burn until you feel better. Do not put butter, oil, or ice on burns. Lightly put a bandage over the burn.”

What do you think of different kinds of reference books(参考书)? We did a survey. Here’re some of their answers.

Liu Yang: In some ways, reference books(参考书) are useful. They help us understand textbooks better. For example, if we can’t learn a language point well in English class, a reference book can help us to review the point. So I think it’s better to have such books.

Wang Qian: Reference books have some disadvantages. Some of them show answers to the exercises in textbooks(课本). This isn’t very good. Students will just copy the answers instead of thinking for themselves. Day after day, students won’t listen carefully in class.

Zheng Xia: Sometimes, reference books are useful. Some reference books show something a little more difficult than the textbooks. They challenge us and let us reach a higher level in our studies. So if you want to learn more, reference books are needed.

Liu Wei: I don’t think reference books are very helpful. If we listen to our teachers carefully and solve the problems at school, this is helpful enough. Besides, the school has already gives us a lot of homework. More reference books will only make us sick of studying. And for some subjects like English, the best way is to speak, not just to do exercises.

For your reference books

【题目】 Traveling by subway can sometimes be quite "exciting", especially when the subway train is crowded. Sometimes you have to stay away from cups of coffee that could spill (洒出) on you. The smells of some passengers' food are strong, too.

The latest Beijing subway passenger rules allow only babies and the sick to eat or drink on the subway. Anyone who breaks the rules and doesn't stop eating and drinking must get off.

Some people agree, saying that the smell of food and drink can make other passengers unhappy or angry, especially in the hot summer. "On the one hand, the smell of food fills the whole subway, making people uncomfortable. On the other hand, eating on subway also creates rubbish," Zheng Yiou, a student from Hefei said.

However, others question this rule. "Some people live so far from their work places that they don't have enough time to have breakfast before they go to work. Eating while they travel saves them time," He Songlin, a student from Chengdu said. "And those people with low-blood sugar levels (血糖) will get sick if they can't eat when they must."

Other cities like Nanjing and Chengdu have similar rules. Some foreign cities don't allow eating and drinking on the subway. For example, eating and drinking have long been stopped on the subway in Washington DC. Singapore fines (罚款) people who eat or drink on the subway up to 500 Singapore dollars (2,417yuan).

Chen Yanyan, a professor (教授) from Beijing, believed we should consider the need of some people to eat or drink on the subway. "Passengers are sometimes too busy to eat. We could learn from Tokyo. It prepares special places in many subway stations, allowing passengers to eat and drink," she said.

1According to the latest Beijing subway passenger rules, are all the passengers allowed to eat or drink on the subway?

____________________

2Why do some passengers on the subway feel unhappy or angry in the hot summer?

3How many reasons does the student from Chengdu give when he questions the subway rule?
