How to Keep Healthy

¡¾´ð°¸¡¿How to Keep Healthy

It's important for us to keep healthy. As a middle school student, we should have a healthy lifestyle. Here are some suggestions.

First, we should do exercise at least one hour every day, such as running or walking. Second, we should have a healthy diet. Eat more fruit and vegetables. Try not to eat junk food. Third, we'd better not spend too much time going online. It is bad for our study and eyes. Fourth, go to bed early and don't stay up too late, because enough sleep is good for our health. Finally, be happy as possible as we can. Learn to smile at ourselves at any time.

If we can do so, I believe we can keep healthy.

¡¾ÌâÄ¿¡¿ A woman who won Tmall's Double Eleven Festival prize has given away most of her prizes to a charity (´ÈÉÆ»ú¹¹) to help to find lost children.

It was the 10th Double Eleven Festival, an Alibaba's online shopping day in China. To celebrate it, Alibaba's Tmall held a sweepstake(³é½±) on Weibo which was one hundred million yuan. 75 million people took part in it. According to the rules, the winner would be able to spend one hundred million yuan showing his or her love for someone.

The winner named @ Pie star is a woman born in the 1990s who lives in the city of Hangzhou. She spent a little to show her love for her family. She really wanted to help the children in trouble. So she gave away the rest to the children's charity.

"I want to pass this luck on to more people. I hope that lost children all over the world can return to their families. And they can be as lucky as me who is loved and well taken care of," she said.

After making the decision on Weibo, she received tens of thousands of likes from people who were moved by her kindness.

Tmall said that it would make sure all of the money would be used for both helping the charity find lost children and protecting the children in the community.

¡¾ÌâÄ¿¡¿ All languages change over time, but some change at a faster speed than others.¡¾1¡¿ One is about people who always use it. Another is about the importance of the language among different areas, such as world communication and changes in technology. In the past, other languages like Latin or French were more important than English. ¡¾2¡¿ English is spoken by about 350 million people as a first language in countries and about a billion more people as a second language.

English started to take the place of French as an international language during the period of British colonialism£¨Ö³ÃñÖ÷Ò壩.¡¾3¡¿ The colonial period came to an end while some other changes happened. New ways of communication technology like television and the Internet make English worldwide.¡¾4¡¿They could use the Internet for information, business, or e-mail in English. Just as the use of English spread, other languages changed English by new inventions and technology.

Icelandic£¨±ùµºÓhas changed very slowly. Why? Because Iceland is an island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.¡¾5¡¿ Today, most Icelanders speak English and Icelandic.

A. What are the reasons?

B. These changes influence the development of society.

C. People could watch news or programs in English everywhere.

D. English was the primary way to communicate in these colonies.

E. However, today English is the most widely used language in the world.

F. It meant Icelanders had little connect with speakers of other languages for many years.
