Although bicycles are still an important means of transportation for many people now,more and more people are riding them,for exercise and fun. This is especially true in some developed countries where cars are a common part of common people’s life. However,two centuries ago, when bicycles were first invented，they were used only for transportation.
In the eighteenth century, people usually traveled by horse and wagon(四轮马车）. Many people worked in cities, but they liked to go to the countryside for weekends and
