New York is an interesting and lively city. If you come to New York for the first time, here is some information that you may find helpful.
Public transport
You can come to New York by plane. There are three airports in New York. When you arrive at one of them, you can take a bus or taxi to any place in New York. Shopping in New York is fun. There are many big shops on Fifth Avenue. They are open seven days a week. But be careful when you look at the prices, because you have to pay an extra 8% tax (税) on everything you buy in New York.
Places to see
Finally, there are a lot of places to see in New York—Times Square, the Statue of Liberty, etc. You shouldn’t go home without climbing the Statue of Liberty to enjoy the scenery (风景) of the city.
