When she was 14, she went to the city in search of work but she decided to return to the countryside in 2012 to take care of her grandmother.

Four years later, she began filming her life there, “When I worked in the city, it was about how to survive,” Li says. “Now when I work in the countryside, I feel like I’m truly living.” Li’s videos record how she works and her daily lives with her grandmother in their modest home.
