Young people pay 10% less attention to traditional Chinese festivals such as Mid-autumn Festival, Lantern Festival and Dragon Boat Festival, compared with those over 35.

The knowledge of young people on the traditional Chinese literary texts “A Dream of Red Mansions”, “Romance of the Three Kingdoms”, “Journey to the West”, “Water Margin”, “Three Character Classic” and “The Analects of Confucius” is higher than their counterparts over 35. More than 60% of young people have read China’s Four Great Classical Novels（“A Dream of Red Mansions”, “Romance of the Three Kingdoms”, “Journey to the West” and “Water Margin”）.
