Many scientists work really hard to find out how these amazing works came out. Unfortunately, until now, no one could tell clearly how these circles are formed.

The second explanation is the effect of tornado(龙卷风). The third one thinks these circles are the predictions of some kind of disaster. Also, some people believe it’s a great work from the creature outside the earth. And the last one is that some think they are made by human beings as a trick.

1in 2012

2in Britain in 1972

3five

4be found out

5Crop Circle

1根据Crop Circle(麦田怪圈), first appeared in 1647 in England on the earth, has a lone history with 365 years.

But t didn’t get much attention until the first modern crop circles appeared in Britain in 1972. 故答案为in Britain in 1972

3根据第三段the first…the second…the third…Also…the last可知一共出现了5种解释。

As the time goes, I believe that one day we could find out the reason why they are formed.

故答案为be found out

Crop Circle

At the Cool Beans Cafe in Virginia, US, a dollar can buy you a cup of fresh coffee.

But your purchase(购买) also helps the seventh-grade students with special needs who run the cafe at Poquoson Middle School.

They get experience with job skills and social communication outside of the classroom by working at the cafe. “They really get a lot out of this,” said Heather Hopkins, the teacher who started the cafe and taught the students how to run it.

The five students who run the cafe each have a specific job. Jake Mann, the supply manager, looks at customers’ online orders and helps Braden Jobst, the barista (咖啡师), prepare the coffee. Alex Sarber, the barista assistant, adds any extra ingredients that the customers want.

The drinks are delivered by J.J. Shibuya. Jasmine Baker, the cashier (收银员), goes on deliveries with J.J. and collects money and tips from their customers.

Hopkins started the coffee shop program this school year with $1,600 (10,040 yuan), which was provided by the Virginia Department of Education. The department gave the money to create opportunities for students to practice self-determined behavior and independence.

But even though the shop runs like a business, there’s plenty of opportunity to have fun. For example, Jake likes to pose for photos and admire pictures of the shop’s employees (雇员).

The students take pride in their work. They have discussed their work at a school board meeting and at a recent expo (展览会) of instructional programs at Poquoson schools. It's Monday. I stay with my buddy until I say goodbye around midnight.

My car is parked on the street. As I get in, someone opens my door. It's a man holding a gun.

"Get out of the car!" he barks.

I step out. Another man pushes me into the backseat. We begin driving.

"Where's your money?" one shouts.

"I only have $400 in my account. You can check it through my phone and here's my password," I say. "You can have anything you want. Just let me get back to my family."

"If you're lying," he says, "I'll kill you."

When they see I'm not lying, they ask if my friend has money at the house where they picked me up.

"Maybe, " I say. "If he does, he'll give you whatever he has."

We drive back to my friend's house. I am led to the door, feeling a gun against my back. Before my friend opens the door, one man suddenly rushes me back into the car. I hear them arguing, wondering if my friend has called the police.

Now we're driving, and I have no idea where we are. I try to think of my mum, who is all I have left.

Then the car stops. I'm pulled out and pushed onto the road. I tell myself I can't die this way. Just then, I hear the sound of a police car, so do the men. They jump into my car and speed away. I'm left alone. I am alive.

I stand up and run to a car park, where the lights are on. I knock on a door.

A man opens the door, with a handgun.

"I've just been robbed and kidnapped," I say. "Can you please call the police?"

"Go away," he shouts. I turn back to run.

I run to a gas station. The light is on, but nobody is there. The pay phone has a broken line hanging from it. I fall to the ground, crying hopelessly, when a couple pulls in.

"Are you OK?" the woman asks.

"I was robbed and kidnapped," I say. "Please, I just need some help."

"That's all you need me to do?" she says in a motherly way. "We're going to wait for the police to get here."

(One day, Gulliver was caught in a storm and his ship hit a rock, then damaged. He was washed to the beach. When he woke up, he found himself in Lilliput and a lot of' tiny people were around him.)

The Emperor spoke in a low voice but I could hear all the words clearly.

His Majesty and I often spoke to each other but neither of us understood a single word. I tried words from many languages. No one could understand me, not even the cleverest of the Emperor's followers.

After about two hours the Emperor left. His wife, children and their servants went also. There were strong guards around me. This was to stop the crowd of people from hurting me.

An officer told the guards to hold six men who made me angry. These men were given to me and I had to choose their punishment. I put five of them in my pocket. Then I pretended(假装)to eat the sixth man.

The poor man screamed terribly. The guards were worried when they saw my knife in my hand. I only cut the rope round his hands. Then I put him on his feet and let him go. I lifted the other five men out of my pocket and put them gently on the ground too.
