    When Mr. David retired(退休), he bought a small house in a village near the sea. He liked it and hoped to live a quiet life in it.     Hotels can make a person’s stay away from home as restful as possible. Hotels provide warm beds to allow guests a peaceful night’s rest. Besides, some hotels offer guests special services such as newspapers to read in the morning, fresh coffee, and even breakfast.     I still remember the last time when two of my children and I went to the playground. It had rained during the night and the playground was very muddy (泥泞的).
