In the morning the groom(新郎)and his groomsmen take cars to the bride's house to meet the bride. Before they enter the room, they have to stand outside the door and answer the questions which the bridesmaids(伴娘) ask. If the groom gets the wrong answers, he has to sing or say some silly words as the punishment(惩罚). At the wedding, the bride and the groom bow(鞠躬) to their parents and the guests. Then the new couple(夫妇) bow to each other and exchange the wedding presents—the ring for the bride and the watch for the groom.
After the wedding ceremony(仪式), the bride's and the groom's parents offer a meal to the guests. There are usually twenty tables or more. There are all kinds of delicious food. The new couple will toast(敬酒) the guests from a table to another. The bride usually changes gowns(女礼服) two or three times during the reception(接待).
