Lin Junjie (born on March 27,1981) is a Singaporean Chinese popsinger
based in Taiwan. He is also known as JJ Lin. Wayne Lim is his baptismal
(洗礼的) name, and it is generally used by his friends and members of his
church. He indicates on his rl'witter page that he is currently living in Taiwan
while continuing his music career.
JJ Lin was born in Singapore and gracluated from Anglo-Chinese School
and Saint Andrew's Junior College before launching his musical career in
Taiwan. He is of Hokkien descent(福建血统)．In addition to linglish, Mandarin
(普通话)and Hok-kien, he is also able to speak Cantonese and has released
several cover versions of his songs iIlCantonese. He c:ame to musical
prominence ancl success in the Greater China regiori. In Taiwan,he was
awarded the "Best New Artist" award in the Taiwan Golden Melody Awards.
