We all have our favorite teachers—those who seem truly interested. But what about teachers we don’t know as well or even don’t like much? You can do lots of things to get a good relationship with your teacher.
First, try to be a good student: go to class on time, finish all homework on time, be active in the class and ask questions often.
Second, show an interest in the subject that the teacher teaches. Obviously(显然地), your teachers are really interested in their subjects. Showing the teacher that you care—even if you’re not good at math or French—sends the message that you are a dedicated students. Then the teacher may pay more attention to you.
Third, you can also often have a talk with your teacher when he is free. Use this time to get extra help, ask questions, talk about the subject, or talk about your progress in class. You may be surprised to learn that one-on-one communication for your teacher is a bit more relaxed than lecturing(讲课) in front of the whole class.
