However, men in Japan don’t give any gifts on Valentine’s day. 4. The gift is always chocolate, and they get it for all the men in their lives, including workmates. Then there is a day on the 14th of March when the men do something in return. The gifts are only from men to women this time, and they are chocolates or jewelries(珠宝) or nice clothes. The money spent is directly related to how much chocolate received.
