Spending time in a foreign country is an exciting and life-changing experience. You see different sceneries, taste different food and meet people with different backgrounds. And the most important thing of all, you explore and even become a part of the local culture.
However, culture shock may hit you. Things you believe at home may no longer be that way in a foreign country. Not everybody thinks like you or does things the way you’ve always done.
Their tea tastes different. They don’t talk loudly in restaurants. Some might not care much about your life, so you may even feel they are sometimes cold. It is not better or worse. It is just different. Then what you can do in a foreign country is to take in the differences. Each time you open up your mind a little more,you become a better person.

I also found the 9/11 Memorial and Museum to be of great interest.This museum is for those who lost their lives, as well as their families, when the Twin Towers in New York City were attacked by terrorists in 2001.It tells you how the terrorists planned the attack and what happened as a result of their actions.Surviving pieces of the towers are shown in the museum.It was a truly meaningful visit, which made me treasure my own life more.
