Tuesday November 14

I finally did it! This morning I went bungy jumping!

At first I was scared. The river was so far below. So I stood and watched other people jump from the bridge, about 43 meters above the river. Some looked terrified. Others were laughing and joking. Many of them screamed all the way down to the water.

At last I had the courage to take my turn. The assistants strapped (扎) a harness(全套装备)around my body and a bungy rope around my ankles. I stood on the edge of the platform.

I stopped worrying and dived off the platform.

I dropped down much more quickly than I expected. As I went down, I thought, what if the bungy rope breaks?

Suddenly I came to a stop, and my head dipped in the river. Then I bounced back up into the air. I bounced up and down gently a few more times and then the boat came and some people puled me on board and unstrapped my ankles.

I did it! I jumped off a bridge! I'm so proud of myself.

1.When did the writer go bungy jumping?

2.Where did she jump from?

3.How high is the bridge?

4.What did the assistants strap ground her body?

5.What did the writer have around her ankles?

6.What happened when she stopped failing?
