Once you arrive at the World Expo Shanghai, you will see a huge red building. It is the China Pavilion, and it is the largest national pavilion.

The three-floor pavilion is divided into three parts: Footprint of East on the top floor will show the changes in Chinese cities. At Journey of Wisdom on the second floor, China’s four great inventions are displayed. Blossoming City on the ground floor shows what future cities will look like. If you take a lift and go to the top floor, you’ll learn how Chinese cities have changed, especially over the past 30 years. The 10-minute film by Lu Chuan will be shown in a 600-seat theater.

The painting Along the River During Qing Ming Festival, is considered a national treasure. It tells about life in Bianjing, today’s Kaifeng, in Henan province. More tan 1,000 years ago, it was the largest city in the world. Special technology makes more than 1,500 characters of the painting walk and move along a 100-meter-long wall.

Four families are chosen from Zhejiang Province to show their daily lives. The films and furniture from these families is on display. And you will have the chance to experience the daily lives of these families at different periods.
