Black bread with honey¡ª A friend of mine stayed in a hotel in India and the manager gave this to her for stomachache. It really works. Just take a piece of bread and toast it until it¡¯s black. Then put honey on the bread and eat it. It doesn¡¯t look good, but it can really help. So if you get stomachache, try this remedy (ÖÎÁÆ·¨).

An onion¡ªIf you get a high temperature, use an onion. It sounds strange but it helps. Cut one large onion in half and tie the half an onion to the bottom of each of your feet. You shouldn¡¯t wear socks of course! I use this on my kids and it works every time. The remedy came from a relative from down south.

There was once a girl who was very quiet. She never said a word, not even ¡°Mum¡± or ¡°Dad¡±. Her parents were very worried. When she was three years old she still hadn¡¯t said anything. When she was five, she still hadn¡¯t said anything. The worried parents took her to the best doctors but none of them could find anything wrong with her. ¡°Do you think our daughter will ever talk?¡± asked the mother. But all the doctors said, ¡°We will just have to wait and see.¡± Time went by and the girl turned eight. Then one day she was eating dinner with her mother when she suddenly cried, ¡°Yuk(ÄѳÔ)! Not enough salt! Get me some more salt, please!¡± ¡°Godness!¡± cried her mother. ¡°You can talk! Why didn¡¯ t you say anything all these years?¡± ¡°Well,¡± said the girl, ¡°There was never any need. Up till now everything tasted fine.¡±
