    　　Michael Jordan was born on February 17，1963，in Brooklyn，New York．Michael Jordan is a world-famous name．Sometimes he is called M.J.，or Air Jordan!He is the best-known player in the history of professional basketball．He has been a great athlete(运动员) since junior high school．He was interested in many sports．He liked baseball and basketball the most．

    　　He won the NBA's Most Valuable Player prize five times. He helped the Chicago Bulls become No.1 six times．In October of 1993，Jordan stopped playing basketball and started playing baseball．Playing baseball was his early dream．In March of 1995，he stopped playing baseball and came back to the Bulls．With Jordan，the Bulls won the first prize in 1996,1997 and 1998．He stopped playing basketball again in 1999．In the year 2000，he became a part owner of the NBA's Washington Wizards．He played for two more full seasons， and stopped again in April of 2003．
