A Snowstorm

¡¾´ð°¸¡¿Snowstorm

Snowstorm is a bad weather. A snowstorm hit Shuyang on December 1,2018.

On that morning, I was doing my homework. Our teacher told us to go home early. On my way home, the weather was really terrible. We could only hear the wind. Snow continued to fall around us. Suddenly, a strong wind came from behind. We lost our umbrellas in the wind and I nearly fell over. We could do nothing but walk slowly in the storm. At last, we got on a bus and went home. The next day, I looked out of the window and saw people were in a hurry to remove the snow.

What a bad weather!

¡¾ÌâÄ¿¡¿¸ù¾Ý¶ÌÎÄÄÚÈÝ, Íê³ÉÏÂÁи÷¾ä, ÿ¿ÕÒ»´Ê¡£ In most parts of the world, many students help their schools make less pollution. They join environment clubs (»·¾³¾ãÀÖ²¿). In an environment club, people work together to make our environment clean.
Here are some things students often do.
No garbage (À¬»ø) lunches. How much do you throw away after lunch£¿Environment clubs ask students to bring their lunches in bags that can be used again. Every week they will choose the classes that make the least garbage and report them to the whole school.
No car day. On a no car day, nobody comes to school in a car-not only the students but also the teachers£¡Cars give pollution to our air, so remember:
Walk, jump, bike or run.
Use your legs! It's lots of fun.
Turn off the taps! Do you know that some toilets can waste twenty to forty cubic (Á¢·½µÄ) meters of water an hour£¿In a year, that would fill a small river£¡In environment clubs, students mend those broken toilets.
We should love our environment. Let's work together to make it better.

¡¾ÌâÄ¿¡¿ Your school days should be some of the best and happiest days of your life. You shouldn¡¯t waste this wonderful opportunity (»ú»á) to learn. Here is our advice for you to have a happy school life.

¡¾1¡¿ Don¡¯t say things are difficult or boring. Be interested in school life and your school subjects. Take part in activities. Be quick to put your hand up. Go round the school with a big smile.

¡¾2¡¿ If you do not eat a good breakfast, you will be thinking about food in class. If you go to bed late and do not have enough sleep, you will be sleepy in class. Play some sports to keep your body strong.

¡¾3¡¿ Do not say you will do things tomorrow. If you get behind the class, it is very difficult to get back in front. You cannot finish a race if you rest all the time.

¡¾4¡¿ Sometimes they are only the result of misunderstanding(Îó½â). Don¡¯t be too embarrassed(¾ÚÉ¥µÄ) to ask for help. You are young. No one thinks you can do everything!

Gesturing can influence the tone of your voice£®When you gesture£¬you bring more air into the lungs£¬which can make your voice sound warmer£®Gestures are also useful to help you stress the right words or even find the words you need£®The best thing about gesturing during a phone call is that no one can see what you're doing£¬so you can gesture as wildly as you like!
¢µMovement
If you're feeling nervous£¬stand up and move around£®It will reduce the nervousness in your body and help your voice to sound more confident£®
¢¶Pauses £¨Í£¶Ù£©
Using pauses every now and then can help you to slow down£®This will make you sound more confident and in control£®Also£¬if you pause after giving some new information£¬it'll give the other person time to understand it£®At the same time£¬listen to how the other person uses pauses£®They could tell you something about the speaker's feeling£®For example£¬when a speaker is really angry£¬he might use pauses and says£¬"I¡am¡so¡angry¡"
