When I was small, my mom used to give the family a funny special treat from time to time- she would make breakfast food for dinner.

But I have learned something important from my father. Understanding is the basis of everything, whether between a husband and wife, a parent and child or just between two friends. Remember, burnt toast never hurt anyone. It is the people with the kind thoughts who make life worth living.

In the U.S.A, “give me five” or “give me the high five” is a good gesture(手势). You can see it often in films or on TV. It means the slapping (拍打)of each other's right hands together.
