    One day Mrs. Smith invited many people to her house. She wanted to cook them a good dinner of meat and soup. She had five daughters. They were all busy. Mrs. Smith was busy, too. She forgot to put any salt into the soup. So she asked Mary, one of her daughters, to help her. “I can’t, Mum. I’m busy now.” said Mary. She asked the other girls, but got the same answer. So she did it herself.
