    　　Bill Gates, the richest person of he world, is head of a software company（微软公司）, Microsoft. Bill was born in 1955, and he wrote his first software at high school（高中）. When he was a student at Harvard University（哈佛大学）, he wanted to start his own company, so he left the university. After many years of hard work, Gates became the richest person in the world in 1998.

    　　When Bill was in high school, his high school friend Paul Allen thought that the computer in the school was very slow. So they wanted to make it work faster. Gates and Allen wrote software for the computer. Then they left（离开）University early to start their own company called Microsoft in 1980, Gates went into business（商业，贸易）with IBM computers. He wrote software for IBM computers. IBM also helped Microsoft to sell the software to other computer companies.
