该句型意为“某人做某事真是太……了”，该句型中的形容词表示不定式所具备的特征 或客况，for引出逻辑主语。该句型冲的形容词描述的是人的特征、品质等。此类形容词有：brave,careless,clever,foolish,generous,good,helpful,honest,kind,nice,polite,silly,stupid,wrong。注意：在此句型中，of后的宾语与动词不定式之间存在逻辑 上的主谓关系，一般都可以转换成一个以of后的宾语为主语的句子。
