Leon was a postman. Every day Leon would wake up and feed his 37 cats. Leon didn’t really want 37 cats, but one by one they had appeared on his doorstep, and Leon had taken them in.

Every day, after feeding the cats, Leon would collect the mail from the red postboxes in the village and take it home. “If only I had 37 helpers instead of 37 cats, my job would be so much easier,” Leon thought. Just then, the cats started meowing for their dinner. That gave Leon an idea. That night, Leon worked late making 37 cat-sized postal backpacks. Then, he went around to each postbox, putting up signs that read: postbox closed! Please use the postal cat service.

The next day, Leon put a backpack on each cat and dropped off the cats around the village. Leon knew that the cats would be happy walking around all day. He also knew that they would always come home for dinner. Leon spent the day relaxing, waiting for his helpers to return. Leon was right. The cats did return, but they did not bring home many letters. Some got the letters wet. Some bit off the corners of the letters. Some even lost their backpacks. “Cats are just too unreliable(不可靠的),” Leon thought.

Just then, a strange sound came from the outside of Leon’s door. A dirty dog was waiting to be invited inside. That gave Leon an idea.

A car inside Badaling Wildlife Park in Beijing was surrounded (围堵)by bears on February 26th after someone in the car opened a window. A witness(目击者) said online that a bear reached inside the car, trying to attack the tourists.

The witness said a child in the car opened the window. Park officials rushed to the scene and drove off the bears before anybody was hurt. It was too dangerous.

It was a child in the backseat of the car who opened the window, just a little, and a bear stretched its paw into the car. The child must have been terrified and pressed the wrong button, as the window opened wider, said the witness, "Jennifer Salvatore."

Opening a car window is prohibited(禁止)while driving through the wildlife park. The park has posted warning signs telling sightseers not to open car windows while in the park.

This is the second accident in the last six months involving humans and wildlife at the park. In July, a woman was attacked by tigers when she got out of her car. The woman’s mother was killed while attempting to save her daughter and the younger woman was seriously injured.

With this latest incident, debate(争论) has once again been stirred(激起) regarding security at the wildlife park, and the behavior of visitors. Some people who have offered opinions online have blamed the tourists themselves for not obeying the posted rules inside Badaling Wildlife Park.
