I had quite an unpleasant trip the last time when I went to my hometown by train.
I got on the train an began by one-hour trip. I found the train moved faster. I was glad because I would be at home in less than an hour. As the train moved, my hometown was nearer and nearer. I got things ready for getting off. To my surprise, the train went through the station without stopping. Oh, God! I went to ask the conductor and was told that I was on an express train (直达快车) to Austin. The conductor paid no attention to my explaining (解释) and asked me to pay for the trip from my hometown. I had to. Two hours later I found myself 30 kilometres away from my hometown. I found a slow train back. When I reached home, I found that it had taken me four hours to finish the one-hour trip.
