  My hometown is a beautiful village. Great changes have t 1 place here in the past ten years. Ten years ago, it was a p 2 village. There was only one mountain path to go there. Only one o 3 two families had bikes or radios. Most people l 4 in small and low straw-thatched cottages (草房).And farmers had no modern m   5 to do farm work.

   Now my hometown has taken on a new look s 6 the reform and opening-up. We have built new highways (公路).All the villagers have m 7 in new houses, some even in large buildings.
