Rewrite the following sentences as required(根据所给要求,改写下列句子。
【1】All of them have read the moving story in todays’ newspaper.
__________ of them __________ read the moving story in today’s newspaper.
【2】With the help of teachers, Tom made great progress last term.
__________ Tom make great progress last term?
【3】3-D printing technology first appeared in the1980s.
3-D printing technology first appeared in the 1980s, __________ __________?
【4】Brown wrote story about The African Ghost the other day.
A story about The African Ghost __________ by Brown the other day.
【5】Did they know the answer to the question?I didn’t know.
I didn’t know __________ they had __________ the answer to the question.
【6】I received my friend’s letter few days ago.
I __________ my friend a few days ago.
【7】as, make, homework, many, didn’t, jack, mistakes, as, in, his, you(连词成句)
______________________________________________________________________
【1】 None has
【2】How did
【3】 didn’t it
【4】was written
【5】 if/whether known
【6】heard from
【7】Jack didn’t make as many mistakes in his homework as you.
根据要求变否定句,All of them的否定形式为None of them“没人”,其谓语动词用单数,所以用has read,故答案为(1) None (2) has。
With the help of teachers“在老师的帮助下”,可知应问“Tom上学期怎样取得了很大的进步?”,所以用疑问副词how,由“made great progress”可知原句为一般过去时,助动词用did,故答案为How did。
A story about The African Ghost是write的承受者,构成被动关系,结合一般过去时的被动语态was/were+过去分词,主语是单数,故was,write的过去分词是written,故答案为was written。
Did they know the answer to the question?I didn’t know可知这里要求是改成含宾语从句的复合句,句意为“我不知道他们是否已经知道了问题的答案?”,原来是一般疑问句,改成宾语从句应该用whether或者if引导,时态应该和主句保持一致,主句是一般过去时,根据句意,从句用过去完成时,谓语应为had known,故答案为(1) if/whether (2) known。
一样多”:as many mistakes in his homework as you,故答案为Jack didn’t make as many mistakes in his homework as you.

Having lived in California until 1970, my family has felt a number of earthquakes. We have been lucky, however, to have suffered no bodily harm or property damage.
There is a website that lists all California earthquakes recorded from 1769 to the present. The site lists the dates and times as well as the magnitude (震级) and the exact location of any quake that measured more than 6.0. There are only a few earthquakes that stand out in my memory and, luckily, none is shown in the website. So, my personal experience with earthquakes might be considered unimportant.
There are three earthquakes that are difficult to forget. The first one was in 1955 and our oldest daughter was walking with me in our backyard in Redwood City in California. As the shaking became stronger, I held her to me with one arm as I held on to one of our fruit trees with the other. All three of us (my daughter, I and the tree) shook for two or three minutes that to us felt like hours.
The second one was in 1963. Our entire family was visiting Disneyland in Southern California. The earth started to shake just as we were beginning to walk from our hotel toward the famous landmark.
My third experience with an earthquake was a lonely one in California. It was in my sixties and I was alone in an old church. As the building started to shake, I quickly headed for the door to go outside. I remember I said a little prayer—something like, “Help me get out of here in time,Dear Heavenly Father”. Minutes later, I was safe outside.
【1】The author writes the passage mainly to tell us about________.
A.a new film about an earthquake
B.how to survive an earthquake
C.his three earthquake experiences
D.how to save children in an earthquake
【2】The earthquakes the author has experienced________.
A.all caused bodily harmB.are all recorded in a website
C.all measured more than 6.0D.all happened in California
【3】What does the underlined part “the famous landmark” refer to?
A.A church.
B.Disneyland.
C.A building destroyed by an earthquake.
D.The place where the author was born.
【4】Which of the following statements is NOT true about the third earthquake?
A.It happened in the author’s sixties.
B.the author succeeded in getting outside.
C.When it happened, the author was in a church.
D.The author was too afraid to walk when it happened.

【题目】 Answer the questions(根据短文内容回答下列问题)
Quite a few people believe that the phases of the moon(月相) affect the behavior of human and other creatures. That is known as the lunar(月亮) effect. The lunar effect has been around for many centuries. The power of the moon is often used to explain wide range of events, such as human insanity(精神错乱), and increases in violent crimes and traffic accidents.
According to some traditions, for example, before the coming of modern techniques, surgeons would refuse to operate on the full moon nights because of the in- creased risk of death of the patient through blood loss. The idea behind the lunar effect has even found its way into the news. For example, it has been said that the full moon may have influenced voters’ behavior in the 2000 U. S. presidential election.
Does the moon affect our behavior at all? Some people say it does. They say the moon causes the tides, so surely that the moon has an effect on people and we our- selves are full of water, too. But scientists point out that the moon only affects unrestrained(不受控制的) waters, such as oceans. The water in our bodies isn’t even comparable. And over fifty years of research has shown nothing to prove the existence of a causative link(因果联系) between the moon and areas such as mental illness birth rates, crime, or accidents.
There is an explanation for why people link the full moon to unusual human behavior. The reason is that people have selective memories. When something unusual happens and there is a full moon, people might notice the moon and think it is to be blamed.
