Scientists at the University of Pennsylvania studied brain images (图像) of 949 people. They found that male biains have more connections on one side of the brain. In the female brain? they found more activity and connections between the right and left sides of the brain. The left side of the brain is known as the side of “reason”. The right part is known as the “creative” side.

Regina Verma,one of the scientists,says women might use different parts of the brain when they are asked to do something difficult. Men,she adds,use just one side of the brain.

A little stream ran down from a high mountain through many villages and forests. Then it reached a desert. “I went through so many difficulties.
