When someone has deeply hurt you, it can be very difficult to let go of your anger. But forgiveness is possible - and it can be surprisingly helpful to your physical and mental health. Indeed, research has shown that people who forgive have more energy, better appetite (胃口) and better sleep. “People who forgive show less anger and more hopefulness,” says Dr. Frederic Luskin, who wrote the book Forgive for Good. “So it can help save on the wear and tear(消耗) on our body and make people feel more energetic.”
So when someone has hurt you, calm down first. Take plenty of breathe deeply and think of something that gives you pleasure: a beautiful scene in nature, someone you love. Don’t wait for an apology(道歉). “Many times the person who hurt you may never think of apologizing,” says Dr. Luskin. “They may have wanted to hurt you or they just don’t see things the same way. So if you wait for people to apologize, you could be waiting a very long time.” Keep in mind that forgiveness does not necessarily mean accepting the action of the person who makes you angry. Mentally going over your hurt gives power to the person who brought you pain. Instead, learn to look for the love, beauty and kindness around you. Finally, try to see things from the other person’s perspective(视角). You may realize that he or she was acting out of ignorance (无知), fear, even love. To achieve the perspective, you may write a letter to yourself from that person’s point of view

March 16 is World Sleep Day. This year’s slogan is “Breathe Easily, Sleep Well”. Its aim is to celebrate the *benefits of good and healthy sleep.
Fangfang, from Liaoning, just became a high school student last September. She gets up at 5:30 a.m. every day and goes to bed at about midnight. Fangfang feels sleepy all the time. “I want to finish all my homework first,” she said.
Sleep is like food for the brain. Enough sleep helps the body and brain grow and develop. According to the National Sleep *Foundation in the US, adults need seven to nine hours of sleep every night. For students who are 10 to 17 years old, a healthy amount is about eight to nine hours every night.
But many students don’t get enough sleep because of early school start time and heavy homework. About 80 percent of middle school students don’t get enough sleep, the China Youth and Children Research Center reported. For some students, they want to sleep early, but they keep worrying about their schoolwork and can’t fall asleep quickly. For others, they may even have insomnia, and usually they have to ask the doctors for help.
These sleeping problems greatly *affect people’s life. Some doctors found out that *lack of sleep for teenagers lead to poor grades. Students without enough sleep cannot pay attention in class or do well in sports. Also, they often become anxious easily.
Luckily, with good sleep habits, it is easier to fall asleep. Some of these good habits include *avoiding drinks that make people excited late in the day, going to sleep at the same time every night, and sleeping in a comfortable place that is dark, quiet, and neither too warm nor too cold.
More tips to get a good night’s sleep:
Exercising during the day. You’d better do sports three hours before going to bed.
Don’t eat big meals before bedtime. Drink a warm glass of milk.
If you stay awake worrying about things, try making a list of things that you need to do before you go to bed

Healthy eating doesn’t just mean what you eat, but how you eat. Here is some advice on healthy eating.
Eat with others. It can help you to see others’ healthy eating habits. If you usually eat with your parents, you will find that the food you eat is more delicious.
Listen to your body. Ask yourself if you are really hungry. Have a glass of water to see if you are thirsty—sometimes you are just thirsty, you need no food. Stop eating before you feel full.
Eat breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. After you don’t eat for the past ten hours, your body needs food to get you going. You will be smarter after eating breakfast.
Eat healthy snacks like fruits, yogurt or cheese. We all need snacks sometimes. In fact, it’s a good idea to eat two healthy snacks between your three meals This doesn’t mean that you can eat  a bag of chips instead of a meal.
Don’t eat dinner late. With our busy life, we always put off eating dinner until the last minute. Try to eat dinner at least 3 hours before you go to bed. This will give your body a chance to digest most of the food before you rest for the next 8—10 hours

BASEBALL. It’s just a word, but for millions of Americans it brings much more than a word.
Hot dogs. Cold beers. Sunny afternoons. Baseball is the game of fathers and sons. Fathers and sons catch with each other on lawns (草坪) in the US. A father’s favorite team becomes his son’s. Grandfathers talk to their grandsons about games played long ago.
Many American kids collect baseball cards. The cards have pictures of their favorite players on them. In school, friends trade (交换) baseball cards just like they trade their lunches.

Body language shows all kinds of feelings and is sometimes more important than spoken language.A smile is a usual facial expression----it shows that you are friendly to others. However, it does not always mean that you are happy. A smile can hide other feelings, like anger, fear, or worry.
In most countries, nodding the head up and down shows agreement, while shaking the head means that you do not agree, or that you would not like to do something. If you stand holding your arms across your chest, you may be protecting yourself---just from a conversation you do not want! If you sit looking at the person you are talking to and then turn toward to him, it shows that you are interested. If you roll your eyes and turn your head away, most likely you do not believe what you are hearing, or you do not like what you hear
