    　　Photography is about taking photographs. In 1826, a Frenchman named
    Niepce needed pictures for his business. But he was not a good artist. So he

    life-like and full of personality. Brady was also the first person to take pictures of
    war. His 1862 Civil War pictures showed dead soldiers and destroyed cities.
    They made the war seem more real and more terrible.
    　　In the 1880s, new inventions began to change photograph. Photographers
    could buy films readymade in rolls(卷). So they did not have to make the film

    of equipment. And finally, the invention of the small hand-held camera made
    photography less expensive.

    seeds," said Chinese researcher Jin Xing.
        But not all seeds are better after going to space. After returning to the earth, the best seeds are chosen. These seeds produce much more and also grow faster than normal seeds. As the safety of genetically
    modified(转基因)food is still being talked about, some people are not sure about the safety of these
    "space vegetables" because some of their genes(基因)are changed during the trip to space.
       But Jin holds the more hopeful view. He said, "Unlike genetically modified crops, no new genes are
    introduced to the space vegetables, so they are surely safe."
        Space vegetables are better than normal vegetables. For example, space tomatoes stay fresh for twenty
    days, which is one week longer than normal tomatoes. Another popular space vegetable is the peppers.
    Space peppers have 20 per cent more vitamin C than normal peppers.
        Researchers are considering holding a tomato festival. By the time people will be able to enjoy about 30 different kinds of space tomatoes on their dining tables.

         Once a baby cries, the parents will go to see what happened as soon as possible. According to a new study, a baby's cry can make adults react(反应) very quickly, even if they are not related.

    similar scores overall. The results showed that a crying baby gets special attention.
        "Few sounds make people react quite like the cry of a baby," said Morten Kringelbach of Oxford's
