I am writing to you to tell you a piece of good news. Last week our school held a Spoken English Competition. I stood out in the competition and won the first place. In my view, all the achievement that I have gained is owed to your help. During your spare time, you often spent so much time in helping me with my spoken English that I made rapid progress. During the competition, I followed your advice on how to behave and how to keep a good state, which led to my success. I’m grateful for your help. Without your help, I couldn’t have won such a prize. I decide that I will make more efforts and try to make grater progress.
