When I first learn to write in English, I ran into much difficulties. The main problem was that I always thought in Chinese and tried to translate into my own language everything which I came across while I was reading. My teacher advised myself to keep a diary. What is the most valuable thing in the world? Although the answer many vary from person to person, but as for me, reading books is most valuable than anything else. As old saying goes, “To open a book is always helpful. ”

The other day, I was praising by my teacher at the class meeting. He says before the whole class that only if we put our heart into our lessons could we make a great progress. He also said I set a good example to all of my classmate and that I memorized all the words of Unit 1 as if I was not good at English. He also added that anyone should learn from me. Almost all of us heard the story "Here Comes the Wolf" when we are little kids. What we can learn from the story is we must be honest. Therefore, there're lots of case of dishonesty nowadays.

Being honest does great harm to other people or to yourself. Take the case of fake milk powder for an example. After drink this kind of milk, the babies had big heads while their legs and arms were still thin, what badly affected their health. Charles Dickens (1812—1870), the great nineteenth century English novelist, was born near Portsmouth. His father ran heavily into debt (债) and when he was twelve, he had to go and work in a factory.
