Nowadays more and more Chinese go to work with bicycle, leaving their cars at home. Why are so many people riding bicycles to work? They have different reason for it.

First, bicycles do not use up any fuel. Therefore, they cost less than other means of transport. Besides, bicycles do not need many space on the road, and it is easily to find a place for them. And everybody knows that riding a bicycle is healthy sport.

Two years before, I traveled to Brazil and I rented for a car. Unfortunate, I had an accident and hit another car, and I needed to stay in a hospital for at least two week. I’m one of the students in our class who has ever been to England. Last summer I was lucky enough to be sent there to study. The other day, I take part in the National English Debating Competition. I have a lot to share with you. At first, I feel really delighted what I’ve won the first prize in the competition, which makes me understood the true meaning of the proverb ＂no pains, no gains.＂ Furthermore, in the five-days competition, I established a closely friendship with students from all over the country, from who I’ve learned a great deal. More importantly, taking this competition have enabled me overcome my fear of speaking in the public, thus developing my self-confidence. As I was leaving the grocery store this afternoon, I saw a poor family — a mother and her four kid sitting in the cold, it brought back my childhood memories. The little girl, about 13, told me he liked my sweater. I said, ＂Thank you.＂ When I am walking to my car, I started to feel sadly.
