The Chinese athletes have made great achievements in the Beijing Olympic Games. There is no doubt that the Chinese government will give each gold medal winner a large bonus, local reward not included, which has become a household talk.

Some say the players have won great honor for our county after taking great pains, so they deserve it. What’s more, it will benefit the training of future players. Others on the opposite side believe the players get well trained and paid by the county. It will go against our wish if the players quit after getting much money. Besides, it is said that some enterprises are taking advantage of this to sell their products.
