At present, Internet Slang, such as “GG, MM, Xia Mi”， has become popular among the teenagers．Our class had a discussion on Should Internet Slang Be Prohibited, and the results are as follows：45％ students think Internet Slang is vivid, fashionable and full of humor and intelligence．Besides, they claimed that Internet slang makes chatting on the Internet quicker, enriches Chinese words, promote long-term development of Chinese words as well．While 52％ students think Internet Slang sometimes might make people confused, even misunderstand because of lacking depth of thought, disorganized Chinese grammar．3％ say it doesn't matter as long as we use it in proper situations． 　　In my opinion, living in the Information Age, if we don’t know the Internet Slang, we seem to fall behind the times．
