every, this, that, last, next等词后面加时间名词构成的名词短语,前面一般不加任何介词,此时功能上作副词短语用,在句子中作时间状语。故去掉in。

定期的固定短语是:on a regular basis。under改成on。

本句属于强调句,结构是It is/was +被强调的内容+that/who+其它。 which改成that。

故include改成including。

故Every改成Each。

who win the medals是定语从句,分割了作为先行词的主语和谓语动词,但不影响主谓一致。故is改成are。

固定短语“事实上”在英文中有两种表达,一是as a matter of fact, 另一种表达是in fact,此处用的是前者,缺少了不定冠词a。

There are many dangerous sea creatures in the world. The following are some examples.

The needlefish are commonly seen living near the surface of tropical (热带的) waters. But they can also break cover the water, and once in the air they can become dangerous flying swords. Though it is rare, people have been seriously hurt and even killed by the fish.Night fishermen in small boats are at particular risk because their lights may attract the fish.

Saltwater crocodiles are the world's largest crocodiles, sometimes reaching 23 feet in length and topping 2,200 pounds. There is no doubt that the great white shark sits atop the ocean food chain. The world's largest fish can weigh at over 5,000 pounds and reach lengths of more than 20 feet. Great white sharks have about 3,000 teeth, which they typically sink into sea lions, seals, and sea turtles. These sharks are responsible for a third to a half of the 100 shark attacks on humans every year.

The surgeonfish (刺尾鱼) is an attractive reef fish that is poisonous. Scientists believe that the world's seas hold some 1, 200 different surgeonfish species and think that they injure about

Get the Weekly Car Rental Rate

It’s a bit puzzling that car rental companies charge more for driving less, but the weekly rate is often cheaper than driving just four days. You may be able to get the weekly rate for just five days, so keep the car a bit longer if you can.

Ask the Crew about Free Souvenirs (纪念品)

Lots of free stuff is lying around cruise ships, such as T-shirts, crossword puzzles, and postcards. Make friends with the crew members and nicely ask what kind of freebies may be available for souvenirs. Just don’t forget to tip!

Ask for a Corner Room

When you check in at a hotel, ask if there’s a comer room available. These are usually larger and quieter for the same price as ones in the middle of the hall. Upgrades are most often offered at the end of the day when hotels have a better sense of their occupancy.
