My parents have decided to take me to Britain for a visit. I am excited, hoped to make good use of this opportunity. Firstly, I will talk to native speaker as much as I can improve my English. Secondly, there are many attractions that interests me a lot, among which is Big Ben, Besides, football, that is popular in England, is my most favorite sport. I have been dreaming of watching a living football match there but now the dream will come true. My friend Alice lives in London. I will probable meet her. However I do, I am sure I will have a good time.

About one year before, we got a lovely cat named Tom. He enjoys watch my elderly neighbor in her garden. Although he won't let her to touch him, he always keeps an eye on her.
One afternoon I heard Tom calling strange. When I reached the door to check on him, his calling stops, so I headed back to the kitchen. Just as I did, her calling started again. I stepped outside to find Tom sitting next to my elderly neighbors who had fallen. She didn't have strength to get up and shout for help. Tom didn't leave her side until help arrived. With Tom, she might not have been found in time.

My parents run the restaurant in our city. I help out there after school every time when I am free. Yesterday afternoon I went there help out as usual. While I was there, two foreigners from Australia came to have a meal. Learned that they didn¡¯t speak Chinese at all£¬I went up and greeted them with English. I recommended some typical dish to them and they had a nicely meal. After the meal, they expressed their satisfaction with the food but praised me for my English. It was the first time that I have communicated with foreigners. My parents felt proud of mine.

Teenagers often have problems with English. Yesterday we hold a discussion about what to learn English well. We came up with some suggestion. For example, some of us thought it was important to take the active part in classroom activities, because we could learn a lot of during the activities. Some agreed watching American films could a good way to improve listening and speaking skills. Others suggested read English novels to practice English.
As for me, I prefer listening careful to teachers in class. What¡¯s more, writing to your pen pal in America helps me much with my English. I hope all of us can found our own ways to learn English well.

¡¾ÌâÄ¿¡¿Public speaking is a common cause of stress for everyone. The idea of standing in front of a large group with all eyes on you can make you feel fearful in almost all kinds of situation, for example giving a presentation in class, proposing a toast at dinner or making a workrelated presentation. It seems to be a fear that's impossible to overcome. If you have ever experienced this, you know while the anxiety may develop at the actual event, it is a feeling that begins much earlier than the actual day. There are many ways you can work on your confidence and prepare yourself for a public speaking event.
A consultant specializing (רÃÅÑо¿) in presentation skills can help you to overcome your sense of panic.Working with a consultant does not indicate that you have a major problem; it is only an approach to receiving guidance on relaxation strategies, such as deep breathing, which can help you deal with public speaking problems with ease.
Consultants can also help you work on your confidence.Confidence is extremely important in public speaking as it lets a speaker sound more convincing.Even wellestablished public speakers practice techniques such as meditation (³Á˼ڤÏë) to calm themselves before a public appearance.
It's well worth the time and effort to overcome the fear of public speaking, particularly if talks and presentations are part of your work description.Keep in mind that many of those around you are also struggling with this fear of public speaking. It will help you to become an able speaker if you can prepare beforehand. For example, you can put in time on planning your presentation in detail and practicing it many times in secret. As you get more and more familiar with your material, you'll be able to finetune (΢µ÷) the details of your presentation and this will make you a confident speaker.Your speech will become excellent in terms of style and content.
Remember that the more you get into this pattern of feeling good about yourself, the stronger you will feel about approaching events when you have to make a speech. You can also work on physical details such as adjusting your tone (Òôµ÷) before the presentation by doing some warmup exercises.
In a word, believing in yourself and presenting yourself well can help you deeply impress your audience. And after a few speeches you'll notice yourself overcoming the sense of panic that you now feel in public speaking situations.

Last Saturday I went to the library as usually. At about noon, I was enjoying my reading near a lake while suddenly I hear someone crying for help. I went up to see what was happened. I was shocking to find a little child struggling in the water in the distance while many peoples were standing by without doing anything. Without any hesitation, I had pushed through the crowd as I took off my coat, but jumped into the water quickly. I managed to reach him and carried him back to safety. To his great relief, the kid was saved.
I am proud what I did. I hope everyone can give a hand when someone else is in need.
